Periodically, when you’re traveling down the coast on 101 there are signs, “tsunami hazard area,” or “You are now leaving a tsunami hazard area,” or, “tsunami evacuation route.” There is something I’ve been thinking about quite a bit out here on the coast; earthquakes and tsunamis! I was thinking about it already but it really brings it to life when I read the signs.
As far as our adventure… well, we hit the road again this morning and decided that we wanted to have lunch at the Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco (Jeff ate there about 14 years ago and thought it was something I should see). Then, as long as we’re so close we decided to make my dream come true of seeing Big Sur. So we stepped on the gas once again. Tonight we’re staying in Salinas and in the morning we’re off to explore Big Sur. After this, we will probably start heading east/NE and back to the greatest adventure of all; being back with our families and friends! We do, however, have a little more exploring to do along the way… so stay tuned.
Until tomorrow
